Connect the SO2 absorption vessel to collect the distillate 8. Exchange the standard suction tube for the long suction tube 9. Bring the spacer into position to use 500 and 750 ml sample tubes 10. Measure the required amount of degassed sample and pour it into sample tube 11. Add one antifoam tablet to reduce foaming 12. Connect the 750 ml sample tube 13. Select and start the required distillation method 14. Stop the distillation when the volume in the first receiver reaches the neck of the flask 15. Rinse both receivers into a 600 ml beaker and rinse all glass parts carefully 16. Increase the volume to 400 ml with distilled water 17. Acidify with sulfuric acid 18. Titrate with sodium thiosulfate solution until the solution becomes colourless 19.
