Modified Fuel Injectors - A Comparison

Taking a closer look at what happens when fuel injectors are redrilled to increase their flow rate. The raw data was generated using an ASNU GDI digital bench and their laptop based control software that allows complete control of pressure, pulsewidth, voltage, current and waveform. The tests were run at 4bar working pressure and compare a stock Bosch LS3 fuel injector with a Continental (Siemens VDO) "Deka 60" and a redrilled version of the first Bosch LS3 injector.
