ConMed's argon beam technology provides clinical value for both the patient and surgeon for total joint procedures.
The directed flow of cool Argon gas blows blood away, allowing energy to be directly applied where the bleeding occurs. The result is rapid superficial hemostasis, reduced blood loss, less surgical plume, and shorter surgical time.
With Argon Beam Coagulation, the depth of penetration is superficial. This results in less tissue charring and an easier healing process.
