New UN council discusses economic meltdown, Iran sanctions

The United Nations' newly-renovated ECOSOC chamber has opened with a high-level economic meeting including the world's financial ministers -- bankers and others. Two things to take away are that the five year-old economic meltdown plaguing Western nations is still playing itself out -- and the sanctions imposed on Iran by the UN are actually hurting Iran's trading partners more than the Islamic Republic.
