USB Charging Standard, with Logo by USB Implementors Forum

The new USB charging standard enables faster charging and standardizes fast charging across manufacturers. The OEM can still customize what chargers do. Chargers will also have firmware for customization. The new protocol also states on the logo how much wattage is provided. The new cables and chargers will only send electrical current if plugged into the device.
